Day 193 (bonus): Grey DeLisle inducted into the Rebel Legion as Honorary Member
It just so happened that when I went to get Grey DeLisle’s autograph at Star Wars Celebration IV, my friends Mary Alice Ladd and Kristin Sirota were about to induct Grey into the Rebel Legion as an Honorary Member. Both are wearing costumes based on outfits in which Padmé appeared in Star Wars: Clone Wars. The Rebel Legion is an international Star Wars costuming group where members costume as the good guys of the Star Wars Universe.

Day 192: “Clone Wars” by Cat Staggs
Title: “Clone Wars”
Artist: Cat Staggs
Size: 16″ x 24″
Price: $15
Cat Staggs seems to have taken four of the images she drew on sketch cards for Topps’ The Clone Wars trading cards and combined them into a print. Clockwise from the top left, we see Asajj Ventress, Padmé Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka Tano.
I purchased this print from Cat Staggs at Dragon*Con in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 4, 2009.
Day 191: Galactic Files series 2 Classic Lines chase card
Item: “So This Is How Liberty Dies, With Thunderous Applause…”
Set: Star Wars Galactic Files series 2
Subset: Classic Lines
Manufacturer: Topps
Card: CL-6
Price: $65.94 (included in complete set)
After years of manipulation and deception on a galactic scale, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine seizes ultimate control of the Senate under the pretest of defending this union of myriad worlds from Jedi aggression. Aware of what is truly transpiring, a forlorn and bitter Padmé Amidala comments on the irony of this tragic development.
My boxes of Galactic Files series 2 cards did not contain the expected inserts, so I bought a nearly complete mini-master set from Cedar Cliff Collectibles in August 2013.
Day 190: Queen Amidala (Coruscant) action figure
Item: Queen Amidala (Coruscant) action figure
Manufacturer: Hasbro
Line: Episode I (1999), Comtech Chip #10
Price: $4.99
This is the third action figure of Padmé, as portrayed by Natalie Portman, in Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace. It is No. 10 in Hasbro’s line of Episode I figures, When addressing the Galactic Senate on Coruscant, Queen Amidala of Naboo wears this red gown.
The CommTech chip plays the following lines:
- “The Naboo system has been invaded by the droid armies of the trade.”
- “I’ve come to resolve this attack on our sovereignty now”
- “I suggest new leadership is needed!”
I purchased this figure during midnight madness at the Bellevue Toys R Us on May 3, 1999.
Day 189: Queen Amidala Theed Invasion action figure
Item: Queen Amidala Theed Invasion action figure and Jedi Force File
Manufacturer: Hasbro
Line: Power of the Jedi
Year: 2000
Price: $5
The Power of the Jedi line of Hasbro 3 3/4″ action figures sees Queen Amidala of Naboo in the red gown she wore when Theed was invaded by the Trade Federation. The bulbs in the skirt do not light up. Supposedly, there is a variation in the color of the legs of the figure, but I can not confirm that it exists. I have never opened the Jedi Force File to see what it contains. If I still have duplicates of the figure I might do that..
I purchased this at Target or Toys R Us in 2000.
Day 188: Star Wars Celebration III badges pin set #188/275
Item: Star Wars Celebration III badges pin set
Event: Star Wars Celebration III
Price: $170
I couldn’t find a good picture of the pin set, so I’ve included a photo of the actual badges. As you can see, both the adult and child badges for Saturday feature Senator Amidala. The adult badge has art based on Revenge of the Sith, while the child’s badge has art based on Star Wars: Clone Wars micro-series.
I pre-ordered the set from Intergalactic Trading Company at Star Wars Celebration III in Indianapolis, Indiana, and received it later that month.
